Customer Reviews:

So versatile.
Chux are so useful. Soft and lightly padded on one side and waterproof on the other. I first used it as a piddle pad for my young puppy. Then, I used it as a disposable changing pad for my baby. Now, I use it under my hamster’s cage to protect my desk for the moisture that sometimes spills from the water bottle and whatever else. It to protect the sheets for children who wet their beds or for bedridden adults who must wear diapers. They come in all sizes for whatever your needs.

_____________

UPDATE: This small size can be a little too small for some uses. Big works best for me. I can always fold them down.

Good for a temporary solution
Our little boy is just about at the age where he’s dry all night, but not quite there yet. We have some waterproof pads we wash, but I wash frequently, so sometimes I’d find myself w/o a cloth pad when it was bedtime.
I bought the Chux pads just for the times we didn’t have a cloth pad available. They’ll also come in handy for vacation – don’t want wet hotel beds!

The Chux work well enough in the catching wetness department, but do tend to slide around or bunch up. Given the choice, I’ll always choose our cloth pads, but in a pinch these are fine.

perfect fit
These smaller chair sized pads are very hard to find in your average drug or discount store. It was a relief to locate them after a search both on foot and online failed. My only reason for rating them a four and not a five is that they are a little thin. Otherwise they protect the chairs from the problems of incontenance without the need for folding to get in place.

Yes, Finally!!!
After many years of fans begging the Sesame Workshop (formerly the Children’s Television Workshop) to do a major release of “classic” material from the archives, it appears that they finally relented! I think the success of the Electric Company Set from several months back paved the way…

Let me start out by saying that I’m 29 years old and have been collecting this material for years. The bulk of what I’ve obtained came from the Noggin channel which was playing old episodes of Street from 1969 to 1989 until they stopped airing them a few years back.

I imagine most of the people interested in this set are familiar with the early years of Sesame Street. It was a chaotic, brilliantly conceived show from day one… very much a product of its time (the late 60s), and although the show was devised to teach kids, it was in its own way as revolutionary in format as Monty Python’s Flying Circus was… extremely fast paced and chock full of highly imaginative, trippy animated segments (such as, for example the Racecars Spies number series, best described as a psychedelic freak out with dreamlike, surreal animation regarding numbers one through ten and sung by Grace Slick, then of Jefferson Airplane, in her own inimitable way)… And that’s just the tip of the iceberg. For those of you who grew up being hypnotized, and yes, often frightened by the many strange, often subversive animated segments of the show (many of which are permanently etched in your brain; you’d be amazed how vividly some of these clips come back to you even after not seeing them for 25 years or more), still recall with affection the brilliant jazzy orchestrations of show composer Joe Raposo (who wrote the most sophisticated music ever devised for children’s TV), remember hanging out with Mr. Hooper and a Gordon who actually had hair (there were actually two other actors who played Gordon before the current bald one we know and love), and loved the rougher, edgier quality of those early muppet segments, this is the release for you. After many years of Schoolhouse Rock being available for purchase (which I love too, but the early Street material is even better in my opinion), we can now look forward to this:

7 hours of classic content

5 complete hour-long episodes (slightly edited due to music rights issues)

Over 54 bonus segments, including:

The original pitch for the show – first time available anywhere!

Celebrity appearances from James Earl Jones, Jesse Jackson, Johnny Cash, Jackie Robinson

Classic segments every parent will remember: “I Love Trash,” “Rubber Duckie,” “C is for Cookie”

Original animations including Ladybug Picnic, Alligator King, King of Eight

Hopefully this will be the first of many releases of classic Sesame Street! The second volume of the Electric Company will be released in November.

Not Bad
They’ve done a good job at balancing full episodes with minimal (if any) repetition with shorts of the popular skits and segments. I find the announcer cartoon (called Bob) annoying and an unnecessary delaying tactic to get to the episodes. If you skip to the next chapter you miss the beginning. If you don’t you’re stuck listening to him. He may provide some useful info, but nothing I wouldn’t want to be able to easily skip. Some of the sound and video quality is poor. Fuzzy film, blown out or faded colors. I’m guessing that the masters have degraded some, it is kind of interesting to hear record pops and static on “Being green” (Pretty minor distraction just at the beginning). Anyhow all these are minor quibbles. It was great to see the episodes and sketches as well as see the early incarnation of these characters. (It looks like Big bird is missing half his head and Oscar is Yellow!)

So the info I was looking for before I bought the disc and still haven’t seen anyonepost it is what is on the DVD’s. If you’d rather be surprised, stop reading now. If you would like to know what is listed as being on the DVD’s, read on true believer…

Yes Virginia, there was a Sesame Street before Elmo…
I have been an avid fan of Sesame Street since the age of six weeks, when my mom placed me in my baby swing in front of the TV on an autumn day in 1976.

I just received this set today and I watched it from beginning to end. The episodes are crystal clear, fully restored, and completely unedited, unlike the versions shown on Noggin. I saw many clips that brought back fond memories, including the classic sketch where Bert is disturbed by water dripping in the bathroom and asks Ernie to “do something about it”. In response, Ernie turns on the radio to drown out the sound of the faucet, and then turns on the vacuum cleaner to drown out the sound of the radio! Absolutely hilarious! All of your other old school Muppet characters are here, including Grover, Cookie Monster, Oscar (shown in his original orange color and his telltale green fur), Herry, Little Bird, Kermit the Frog Prairie Dawn, and of course, Big Bird and Snuffy! All of the actors look so fresh and young and you gotta love them 70s outfits! In addition to the five season premieres, there are also “classic clips” from each season as well as the original sales reel hosted by Kermit the Frog and Rowlf the Dog (who would later star in the Muppet Show) explaining what this new show called Sesame Street was all about.

I am glad that Sesame Workshop (formerly known to us old schoolers as the Children’s Television Workshop) finally listened to the pleas of us thirty-somethings. I hope that there will be more episodes to come. This is a set that I will treasure for years to come and someday hope to share it with my own children.

Very nice (yes, I actually have one)
As of this writing, no reviews are from someone who actually HAS one of the new iPods (10/19). That is about to change….

My 40GB iPod’s hard disk had been deteriorating for a while, until it stopped working altogether. That happened to be the day before the iPod video announcement (last Tuesday).

On to what you really want to know, and what you can’t get from Apple’s website, or reviews regurgitating technical specifications:

1) Can you actually enjoy watching video on a screen that small? What about the video quality?

In short, if you’re holding the iPod as close to your face as you would hold an older iPod to really read what song is playing, the video quality is actually quite nice. The screen is noticeably bigger (the height is about the size of the old iPod width). If you’re wondering how the quality comes out on an iPod screen (which is normally fairly pixelated), when you load a video it toggles into a mode much akin to when a computer plays a graphics intensive video game. It takes about 10 seconds for a feature-length film to load (i.e., between clicking play, and when it starts playing).

With regard to movies, the iPod doesn’t support chapters. My guess is that people will eventually want movies distributed as folders, witch chapters being the individual files. This will allow chapter skipping. That said, once a movie loads, fast forwarding works very well.

I loaded a fairly graphics-intensive movie on there, at about the highest quality the iPod would allow. The actions scenes come out fine…about what you would expect for an MPGE4.

2) What the heck does this thing actually look like in your hand?

It is about the size of older iPods. It is thinner (a lot thinner, if, like me you are upgrading from a non-photo Gen4 40gb). The front is a flat screen, much like the iPod nano, but bigger. The clickwheel is a bit smaller than it was on older iPods, but bigger than that of a nano.

3) The screen

I have to say, the bigger screen is nice in and of itself. If you have longer track names (if you have live music, etc.) a lot more of the name will appear. This is a very nice subtlety since in oder to read a song title you don’t need to wait……for….it….to…..scroll….

4) Is it worth it?

Jobs called this a regular iPod with “video capability.” I’d say the video capabilities are a little better than that gives it credit for. I don’t yet have a composite adapter, so I can’t see how this comes out on a TV…

With regard to exporting video to TV, there ARE the following options:
TV Out (on/off)
Video Signal (NTSC/PAL)
Widescreen (on/off)

If your iPod is breaking, or is pretty old, I’d definitely upgrade. If you travel a lot or have downtime where you could hold the device pretty close to your face (train, airplane, etc.), I’d definitely get it. If you don’t have much time to enjoy the video capabilities, then it probably isn’t worth it.

5) Firewire

The tech specs didn’t say anything about firewire, so I had been wondering whether it is supported. It actually is not supported at all. In fact, I tried connecting via my old firewire cable, and the iPod brought up a screen that said something like, “firewire is not supported. Please use the supplied USB cable.”

6) The “case”

I saw that a case was included on the Apple website…basically the case, as you might suspect, is pretty bad. I got a 60GB model, and it barely squeezes into the case. That said, cases that support the new screen will likely be unavailable for 3 weeks or so (if what happened with the nano repeats itself), and so it is ncie to have SOMETHING to prevent you from scratching your new screen (which is now more important because it plays video).

Anyway, I hope this answers any questions you might have. I’ve tried to stick to differences between this beauty and the iPod photo.

If you’re still on the fence, let me say this…go for it. It is really quite nice.

Great music player, with video too!
The iPod first appeared four years ago, and the features continue to grow, with each update.

The iPod with video playback was introduced on October 13, 2005. However, one should not necessarily consider this player a video player, but a great iPod music player, with video capabilities as a fantastic bonus. Nevertheless, the iPod with video playback is the most capable and feature-rich iPod ever produced by Apple.

Video Playback – The iPod plays back H264 and MPEG4 encoded video. The iPod’s new display is larger than ever at 2.5 inches, giving it a resolution of 320×240. What video content can you play on your iPod? This area is limited, at least currently. You can buy music videos on iTunes at $1.99 per song, which will play beautifully on the iPod. Furthermore, Apple has made available select television shows, for download on iTunes. They cost $1.99 per episode, for titles including ABC’s hits Lost and Desperate Housewives. You can also watch the episodes you purchase on your computer. If you want to put some of your own video, onto your iPod, you will need to use an application such as QuickTime Pro to convert the video to the specific requirements to play on the iPod. You can also find video podcasts, which will play on the new iPod. Even if you do not plan to view video on the new iPod, its primary purpose is to be used as the world’s best music player. You can still benefit from the beautiful new display, for it will help you find your favorite music faster, and you can view the album art that accompanies your music.

Size of new iPod – Does the picture of the new iPod make it appear larger to you? Well, it did to me. The iPod looked wider, in the photos I saw. However, it is not. The height and width of the iPod are identical to the previous generation iPod with click wheel. The only change in dimensions is the depth. The new iPod is actually thinner than what came before it! Yes, this 30 gig iPod is thinner than the previous 20 gig photo model by 30 percent. What does all this mean? The iPod continues get smaller, making it even easier to carry.

Capacity – This 30 gig iPod has room, for a lot of entertainment. With storage, for up to 7,500 songs, 12,000 photos, or 75 hours of video. The great thing I love about my iPod is that my music, photos, and video only take up about 15 gigabytes. However, I use the additional space to backup data, from my computer. This is incredibly helpful, and could be a real saver, if something happened to your computer. See, the iPod functions as an external hard drive, so you can backup all sorts of data. The 60 gig version is available, for $100 more, so if you want to use it for lots of video, or you have an enormous music collection, you may want to consider that larger version, which also sports longer battery life.

New Software Features – Apple has added features, to the new iPod besides video support. First, they have a clock feature, which quickly allows you to view the time, in up to four different time zones simultaneously. Furthermore, there is a stop watch, and a screen lock, which you can enable to keep people from snooping on your calendar and/or contacts.

Battery – The battery life is one of the most important specifications that you, as an iPod user, are going to care about. This 30 gigabyte iPod sports a battery that will last up to 14 hours, when playing only music. Also note that repeatedly changing songs manually, and turning on the backlight will use up your battery considerably faster. Furthermore, the iPod’s battery lasts a maximum of two hours, when playing back video. This version of the iPod no longer includes an adapter to charge the iPod, at an electrical outlet. You will have to buy that adapter separately, or always charge the iPod via USB 2.0. The charging works fine, from your computer’s USB 2.0, but if you’re traveling you might want the ability to charge, with the adapter. Also note that the iPod no longer supports syncing via firewire cable. You will have to use USB 2.0.

Mac or PC? This iPod works beautifully with either a Mac or PC. The iPod syncs your contacts, video, and music via the iTunes software.

Podcasting – The iPod continues to support podcasting. Podcasts are internet radio broadcasts, and there are thousands covering nearly every subject imaginable, and more are coming out every day. Podcasts are quickly becoming popular content on iPods around the world. Check them out, for this iPod supports Podcasts out of the box. There are also video podcasts, so with the new iPod, you will be able to watch video podcasts, on the iPod’s display.

Appearance – The iPod is beautiful, but the back’s chrome finish is prone to scratches, and the screen can become scratched as well. It is a very good idea to protect the back of the iPod and the screen in some way. There are many cases and protectors out there, and you will surely find something you like. The new iPod is available in a black or white finish. The black color is quickly becoming the most popular, but the white iPod is still the signature color. Do note that the black may show fingerprints and scratches more than the white iPod, much as a black car shows these blemishes more than a lighter colored car.

Audiobooks – I’m always using my iPod, to listen to audiobooks. You can store literally hundreds of audiobooks on here that you buy from iTunes, or Audible. The iPod even has a feature that can slow down or speed up the reading of the audiobook, so that you hear it at just the right pace.

Output – The iPod connects to your PC or Mac via the dock connector at the bottom of the unit. You will connect the included cable, to the computer via a USB 2.0 port. Furthermore, accessories are being made that will also connect to the bottom dock port, and you may purchase Apple’s Universal iPod dock, for easy syncing to your computer. The dock (available separately) also includes s-video output, so you can show off slideshows and video, on a television. There are also iPod A/V cables available that allow composite video and audio output, for connecting your iPod to your television. This might interest you, not only to display slideshows on a television, but also to display TV shows or music videos on a television, which you purchased from iTunes.

Overall, this is another excellent product from Apple Computer. The design is elegant, simple, and intuitive. It will provide hours of entertainment and convenience. Enjoy your iPod experience.

Problems with ipod
We bought an ipod video 30gb and the creative touch (40 gb) (recently). Also purchased the muvo and the toshiba gigabeat. The gigabeat died within a few days. The muvo is great for a flash player. But the ipod has some real problems.

The creative is better than the ipod for us because of file sharing and file backups. The ipod will attach to ONE COMPUTER ONLY and it KNOWS if you try to get it to work with another. This caused us a lot of grief when we switched computers. Then the new computer we attached it to died and getting the music back off of the ipod was a real pain. If you are able to even get the files back off the ipod (it doesn’t like to go that direction, apparently) it still will lose a lot of the tag info in the music library. (Wanna type all that in by hand?) Plus, since Apple’s music file format is proprietary, we can’t share files from the ipod to other players. (Does not play well with others!

The creative players do not have any of these problems. They will work on ANY new computer and accept imports of a variety of file formats. You can make as many backups of your music library on as many hard drives on as many computers as you like.

Another difference is the sound quality and volume output. Creative players drive headphones with higher impedances and also have superior sound. Also, creative players have EQ settings that actually work! They sound very different, but the ipod EQ settings pretty much all sound the same. Furthermore, the creative players have custom EQ settings available if you don’t like the presets that come with the player.

The ipod is more attractive and a bit smaller than the creative, but such things don’t concern me since I’m looking for the highest quality sound I can get. Unfortunately, few mp3 players on the market today are really audiophile quality, and the ones that are are only available in Korea. Apparently the US market is more concerned with “features” and “style”.

There are a few problems with the creative software. It has some bugs but is easy to use. The ipod’s software is also easy to use. Both interfaces are easy to use, but the creative touch can sometimes be too sensitive. It does have a sensitivity setting that helps a bit with that.

Both the ipod and creative would be much better if they had a line out instead of just the regular headphone jack. I would be happier also if the creative could handle lossless compression formats, too, but this is not a major concern.

What player a person buys really depends on their priorities. I have no need to watch videos on a portable player (Although creative has a video player, too). I’m looking for non-proprietary file formats and good sound quality. I’ve seen a lot of my friends with ipods suffer the consequences of having the single computer attachment problem and proprietary file format issues. That can be a very serious problem. I understand there are third party software programs out there that may help some of these issues, but it still is a very suboptimal situation to have to deal with.

Very Good Ink in VERY Small Containers
As inks go, this appears to be very good stuff. In fact, they say it’s guaranteed to last 200+ years, although I’m not sure who around me will go ask for a free cartridge if my documents or photos only last 150 years. More to the point, it DOES look great.

On the other hand, these cartridges are around 30 bucks a piece and I need 8, so it rather irks me that the cartridges are so small. Perhaps that’s a comment more appropriate for a review of the printer design, but it’s worth noting here.

Also worth noting is that you SHOULD NOT immediately replace the ink cartridge in your HP B9180 when you get a message from it saying that this or that cartridge is about to run out. I say this because, when mine said that, I checked the little meter that tells you how much is left and it said 40% of the cartridge still had ink in it. 40%! To me, 40% is not “about to run out,” but I did go ahead and buy an ink cartridge — I just held onto it until it really became obvious that it was no longer printing that color. Only then did I replace the cartridge, because doing otherwise is needlessly wasting money.

I’m not quite cynical enough to say that HP WANTS you to replace (and recycle) the ink cartridges prematurely, but it obviously would make them more money if you do. Just keep your eyes open and you’ll be fine.

Great price fast shipping
Amazon is a great source for these ink cartridges…I have a hard time finding these HP 38 cartridges at any of my local office supply stores, Amazon is just a click away!

Good ink, but texture not the same as other inks. Costs too much!
When you receive this HP cartidge, you will find it very easy to install on a B9180 printer. They just snap right in. I never have any problems with clogs or color. Matte Black does have a slightly different texture than other inks, so you can see where the matte black lies on photos.

My only negative comment is that the ink does not last anywhere near what HP claims. Typically I can get about 30-35 5×7s before needing to replace an ink cartridge. Since there’s 8 cartriges I figure each 5×7 costs around $5 or more. I can no longer afford this so I will either stop printing, buy another printer, or get 3rd party ink even if it means some quality issues.

Hero of the Pacific: The Life of Marine Legend John Basilone Description:

Can a single night define a man’s life? From the summer of 1943 to early 1945, John Basilone was one of the most famous and admired people in America. As the first enlisted man to be awarded the Medal of Honor in World War II, for extraordinary bravery under fire at Guadalcanal, he toured the nation with movie stars, shared podiums with mayors and governors, shook the hands of thousands of citizens, and was even rumored to have made a romantic connection with a beautiful young actress. Why would a man who had proven his courage beyond any doubt, who had gone above and beyond the call of duty, and was reaping the rewards of his sacrifice beg his commanding officers to break with tradition and send a Medal of Honor winner back into combat? Legendary columnist James Brady explores this and many other puzzling questions in this thrilling and surprising biography. Hero of the Pacific tells the dramatic and compelling life story of a small-town boy who became one of World War II’s greatest and best-known heroes, only to be forgotten after his death during another famous and hellish battle on Iwo Jima. You may never have heard of John Basilone, but once you listen to this powerful tale, you’ll never forget him.

AN AMERICAN HERO
A hero doesn’t have to be famous, a household name, president or go on the lecture circuit. A hero does the extra ordinary because they have the courage, conviction and just plain guts to get the job done at the moment. Pick up this book, HERO OF THE PACIFIC and read about an every man, an American from New Jersey, a marine, John Basilone, hero. The man who would get the Medal of Honor for action at Guadalcanal and the Navy Cross on Iwo Jima. And who better to write about Marines than James Brady, a Marine and author of numerous Marine books. This is a wonderful book about amazing courage and should be read by all of us including the next generation. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Brady on Basilone
Having known Jim Brady personally I found his Hero of the Pacific probably as close to the mark as is possible for an author that did not know Basilone. I am a retired Marine “mustang” having served 16 years enlisted and the final five as an officer. Like Brady, we served in Korea (coincidentally) at the same time in 1951 and 1952. In reality, none of this is germane to the book. Brady takes nothing away from Basilone’s heroism. What he does do is debunk Basilone’s daughter’s assumptions and those umpteen million former Marines “who saw” Basilone die on Iwo Jima. You will note the quotes about those who witnessed his death; probably the same number also saw the flagraising on Iwo a bit later in the campaign. Brady, like me, was a professional reporter. I was a combat correspondent in both Korea and Vietnam and throughout my Marine Corps career. Like Jim, I was trained to look beyond the myth and ask the pertinent questions. As a reporter, Jim did this. His book reflects this. To those of you who have not read Jim’s other books, especially those where he writes “fiction to history” give it a try. He was a great writer.

Kent Tolmachoff: real name
Brady offers excellent insights into the better and worse features of the Marine Corps as he develops the saga of Manila John. Basilone remains the epitome of the Marines’ Marine. Brady signs off with Semper Fidelis, a salute of one Marine to another. Tragically, James Brady died after completing this book. Semper Fidelis, Lt. Brady.

The late James Brady commanded a Marine Corps rifle platoon during the Korean War and was awarded a Bronze Star for valor. For more than two decades, he wrote the “In Step With” column for Parade magazine. He authored eighteen books, among them several on the Marines, and was a New York Times bestselling author.

Read the Amazon-exclusive interview with Brady’s daughters, Susan Konig and Fiona Brady.

Why do you think your father chose to focus on John Basilone for this most recent book? What sets Basilone’s story apart from the thousands of other Marines who fought in WWII?

Our Dad understood first hand how the Marine Corps can shape a person’s character. In this book he explored the question, “can a single night define a man’s life?” John Basilone was an everyman from humble beginnings who found himself in the midst of extraordinary circumstances during World War II. His courageous actions earned him the Congressional Medal of Honor, and also—for a short but intense period—resulted in an uncommon degree of public attention and adulation. He wasn’t a poster boy by any means, but a rough and tumble character who became an American idol when the nation was sorely in need of heroes and daring deeds. Our Dad knew that the idea of a regular guy being called upon to do extraordinary things always makes a good story.

Since WWII, there’s been some controversy surrounding Basilone’s legacy as a war hero. How does the book deal with this?

Famous inaccuracies grew up around John Basilone’s legacy, even as he was fading from national memory, except among the Marines and in his hometown of Raritan, New Jersey. Our Dad was a seasoned writer and reporter with nearly seven decades of experience to call on as he tracked down sources who had known John Basilone—people he grew up with or fought along side. He investigated historical documentation, discovered errors, sorted out truth from hyperbole, and ultimately had to make his own determination about Basilone and what happened at Guadalcanal and on Iwo Jima.

Basilone is one of the soldiers profiled in HBO’s new series The Pacific. Why do you think Basilone was chosen as one of the main characters for the show?

John Basilone is a compelling figure, a tragic hero in some ways because of his ultimate fate. There were many young men of valor on the battlefields of the Pacific, but how many of them came home, were paraded around associating with Hollywood stars, and then chose to return to the islands of the Pacific to battle alongside their men?

If it weren’t true, it would make a great story. The fact that it really happened makes readers sit up and take notice. There is also the underlying recognition that our young men and women serving in the United States military right now face these kinds of challenges and defining moments on a daily basis.

Sadly, your father passed away just after completing the manuscript for this book. What do you think he would have thought about all of the attention Basilone is now receiving?

He would have been proud to know that a new generation is learning about a great American hero.

From Booklist
The first serious biography of Medal of Honor winner “Manila John” Basilone is also, sadly, Brady’s last book. He died immediately after completing it, having done his work well. Basilone came from a blue-collar Italian family in New Jersey and had served in the army in the Philippines before the war. For World War II, he joined the marines and won the Medal of Honor as a machine-gunner on Guadalcanal. Sent home as a celebrity for a bond tour, he found his new status a burden and repeatedly tried to get back into combat. Before he did, he married a fellow marine, but what promised to be a highly successful marriage was cut tragically short when Basilone was killed in action on the first day on Iwo Jima. Brady has ferreted out and interviewed practically all the survivors of those who knew Basilone, critiqued most of the previous accounts (sometimes scathingly) on the basis of his own experience as a marine, and generally left us one good marine’s tribute to another. –Roland Green

Review
“Now comes a carefully reported, briskly written book by James Brady, Hero of the Pacific: The Life of Marine Legend John Basilone, that could go a long way toward correcting that historical oversight.” (The Los Angeles Times, February 10, 2010)

Great Handle (for Trac 2s too)
Here’s a little secret. Don’t tell the folks that make the cheap quality Precision 3000 Trac 2 razor handle. THIS HANDLE FITS THE TRAC 2 (AND OTHER SUBSTITUTES) BLADES PERFECTLY! And this one is cheaply priced but of exquisite quality.

Only razor I can use
The title pretty much says it. I have tried several types of razors and only Bump Fighter keeps my chin from becoming a mess of pimples and razor bumps. Great product!

Too Bad More Guys Don’t Know About This Product
It’s a shame that this product is not better marketed. It’s a simple, but cool design that performs exactly as described: providing a [reasonably] close shave without causing razor bumps.

I could never shave my neck more than every 3rd day without fear of serious skin irritation until I tried Bump Fighter. Now I can shave my neck every day and feel a lot less “scruffy” and unkempt than I did before on my no-shave days.

Even though they aren’t very expensive to begin with, they last much longer than a regular razor blade would (mine lasts a few months each since I use an electric to shave the areas above my neck.) Very innovative & a great value.

This product seems to be aimed at African Americans, but I’m a Caucasian guy, and definitely a fan…….
